Daniel L. Altschuler

Daniel and his wife, Huei-Ling, have been travelling to Nepal offering free clinics in Monasteries since 1999. Daniel earned a masters in Buddhist philosophy from UCLA. While in Taiwan he became lost in the study of Chinese Medicine under Dr. Lee Chen-Yr for 15 years. Following this, Daniel relocated his family to Seattle where he maintains a busy private practice, and teaches at SIOM and Bastyr. It has been his dream to start a foundation to both offer free clinics to underserved people as well as provide advanced field medicine training to acupuncturists.

Secretary, Treasurer, & Independent Director: Mike Silva

Mike has over 30 years of accounting, finance, strategy, and corporate development experience with both private and public for profit coproations and is the former COO and is on the Board of Advisors of the BBB Mobile Giving Foundation. Mike spent 2 months in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Solo Khumbu region of Nepal and is passionate about OHM's Mission.
